We are going to Peterborough for a party for sunday &monday any ideas for friday and sat night perhaps half way. We are in the North West, We have two boys that need a play area and a village/pub/takeaway within walking distance please.

I was going to suggest Clumber Park Caravan Club site at Worksop near to Nottingham......the site is excellent for kids but you would need to take your car to reach the nearest pub.....
