We've recently purchased a new tent, Sunncamp Global 6, and are keen to taken it on its maiden voyage next weekend. We live in West Midlands and don't want to travel too far for a weekend and found Lower Lacon on UKCS. The reviews are a bit indifferent so wondered if any one can give thoughts on this site or know of any other good sites close to us. Thanks v.m.

Been there a few times last summer. Found it to be a nice site, not exactly quiet but its nice and tidy. The toilets / showers etc were always clean and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. The only thing about this site ,as I've mentioned, is its not quiet at all. Lots of families with kids go here and particularly at weekends when the barn disco is open it can be noisy till quite late at night but overall its not bad.
