Yes it does help. I think I will stick with my original plan as a half hour walk is just about right for my dog before hitting the pub anyway

Well, you will certainly need a pint after a half hour's walk on a sticky hot evening but you could pop into the beachcomber on the way there and back from Brean Down...a sort of halfway house
