There is a small CL locally on a farm which might be slightly nearer but i wouldn`t say a lot to be honest.

We stayed at the C&CC site at East Harling when we did Legoland last year. It only took about 20 minutes to get there from the site. We found this page full of really good advice about the place itself and how to get the best out of your visit.

We`re stopping at Wellington Country Park for three nights en route to France. The kids like LegoLand and it breaks up the long drive. I don`t remember it taking long to drive to Legoland...30-40 minutes or so? Also the Country Park itself is well worth a day...and you get free access if you are camping there.
