 Just wondered if anyone has been to Pentewan Sands yet. If so, has the work been carried out on the small toilets by the boat slipway, I think they were supposed to be converting them to another showerblock.

We were there at whitsun micky, the work on the old toiletblock by the slipway was well under way & the new block was due to open in 6 weeks from the time of our visit. I supose this means that by the middle of July at the latest there'll be a brand new toilet/shower block there.

The plan of it is across the road from the building & it looks lovely. To be honest, I'm trying to remember how any showers there are each side but I can't.  The block is split into two sections, one planned to be open early season & the whole block for main season. Good idea for keeping the building safe from the idiots.

It's been a long time coming but it's really does look lke the dogs doodahs.

We used to go to Pentewen Sands every Whit as kids, it was fab.

The first couple of years, it only had a basic shop, toilets/showers and laundry block.... look at it now!!
