My husband and I are keen to go on our 1st camping trip, and we are interested in going to Delamere Forest.

I'm having trouble finding out any info on campsites preferably in the forest, or at least very nearby.

I have found the information on the new C&CC site, but one post said tents can't go on it until August?, plus the other feedback wasn't too rosey!

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Hi LuaLua, we are going to Delamere this weekend in our caravan as it's only 30 mins from home. We also heard that tents are not permitted until August because of the new grass on the pitches! We will try to get back to you sometime next week to let you know how we got on. But in the meantime, why don't you check this little Beauty! It's only a short drive from Delamere along the A49 (10 mins) and is situated right on the River Weaver next to the Riverside pub with two more pubs just a 5 minute walk away across the swing bridge.
Hope this helps!
