Hi there we are supposed to be off to Greenhill Leisure Park in Bletchingdon Oxfordshire on Saturday and am just wondering if anyone has been in the last week or so.  Does anyone know if it will be a huge lake instead of a field or is it still worth attempting to pitch our tent????

The forecast says it will have sunny intervals on Friday but I doubt it will be enough to dry out a field.  What do you think.

I am in west Oxfordshire. We have not had much rain here today. It rained heavily last night but was dry all day until 6pmish, but it is raining quite heavily still.

Have to say, in between the rain here it does seem to be drying out lookin at the pavements etc. I am sat here watching the news quite horrified because we seem to have got away quite lightly so far.

Obviously I am a few miles from the site and I dont know how well drained it is but I wouldnt give up all hope just yet.  The forecasters seem optomistic for a slow but gradual warm up and dry out after Thursday!!!

Thanks for you responses.  I am keeping my fingers crossed, I really want to go as we havent been yet this year but I think I would regret going if we have to pitch in a lake when its chucking it down, especially when my little 20 month old desides to go puddle busting....

Honestly Jaynenbaby we have not had anywhere near the amount of rain alot places seem to be having. No rain today - infact the sun is out.

DOnt cancel yet - just wait and see.
