We want to take our 18 month old little girl camping this summer, we would like;
-South west/east coast
-a nice beach, somewhere near by
-activities for younger children.
-something on site for us to do while she's sleeping.
-maybe somewhere we could take our dog too?

Can anyone suggest an area or even a campsite that might be along those lines. I've looked at 'lady's mile' in devon which seems to be the best option.

Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Holiday Resort Unity near Burnham on Sea Somerset was good for our kids and they had kids club that catered for 1-4 and 5-11 year olds. These sessions were combined due to it not being peak season but the kids still enjoyed it. Various evening entertainment available as well. Facilities were good and always clean. Good family bathrooms as well. Can park on beach for £2.50 for all day or 2 minute walk. Beach was ok (nice sand at the top) but would let the kids near the sea due the mud flat risk but they werent bothered. They enjoyed exploring the sand dunes.
