We live in Morpeth and are looking for a site which we can regularly head off to, preferably no more than an hour and a half away. Would love to hear of any suggestions/recommendations.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
We recently stayed at Seaview Caravan Club site at Berwick-Upon-Tweed (see my review!). Fab site, not too expensive, CC standard facilities (excellent) and within walking distance of Berwick too. We loved it and will definitely stay there again when we're lucky enough to get up there next!!!
Hope that helps?!

I live in the Borders so don't know too much about the sites, but the following sites are all within an hour and a half from Morpeth:
Scoutscroft Holiday Centre, Coldingham, St Abbs Ord House, East Ord, Berwick Thrieprig Farm, Cornhill on Tweed Marchmont House, Greenlaw Gibson Park, Melrose Springwood Park, Kelso C&CC Site, Jedburgh Jedforest Caravan Site, Jedburgh Kirkfield Caravan Park, Town Yetholm
I hope the above list is of help to you.

There are 2 sites in Coldingham, Scoutscroft and Crosslaws. Scoutscroft is the bigger of the 2 and is nearer the beach and doesn't allow tents any more. Crosslaws is at the top of the hill going out of Coldingham and has good facilities and hardstanding pitches. Eyemouth is just a couple of minutes over the hill and Berwick upon Tweed is about 10 miles so not too far at all. Dunbar, North Berwick and, yes, even Edinburgh are easily accessible from here.
Wherever you choose to come to in the Borders you will be made very welcome and I hope you enjoy it.
