So i was hvaing trouble bookin a campsite for our first night in newquay in our caravan...everywhere was booked...then i came along this lovely campsite outside of newquay.  I rang and booked, and after my relief of finding one i didnt write downt he name and have now forgotten which one it was!!

it had a flat rate of £10 a night including electric hook up...it seemed like just massive nice field with no frills like entertainment or pools. there was a pub nearby.  Does anyone have any clue?  I know it sounds like the description of every campsite!! I can't even find it when i type in newquay ito the sitefinder - I amwondering whether i typed in something else! I remember the website quite vividly, shame i forgot the blimmin name!

Long shot but...you never know, the woner might look here. if so  UNder  the name Vertigan on the 9th august!

Could this be it?  Yes there is a Newquay in Wales as well as Cornwall.

...i booked it on a work computer, which gets cleared! such a shame, he was a really nice man which i soke to too.  I have looked thru all of cornwall listed sites, i think it may have been an EX postcode or a PL but it seems to have gone forever!  I don't like not turning up if you've booked somewhere, i'll keep looking.  it was near the a30 or a39 about 20 mins or so from newquay.

It's more likely to be a PL postcode, and it'll be either the A30 or A390. 20 mins from Newquay may suggest Wadebridge or Bodmin?

Have you tried yell.com aswell for campsite listing?

Alternatively, you may be getting confirmation of your booking in the post or similar in the next couple of days. Hopefully that'll have the name of the site on it!
