I am sure all of us are fed up with the weather so far this season but it does have a positive aspect for us family campers/caravaners.We have to pay a huge difference in price for our pitches in the "main season" as opposed to the low fees charged for those able to go "low season".They usualy get the weather and the cheap prices combined but this year its a bit different.Does make me smile a bit as my neighbour always tells me how cheap its was and how sunny its been when he goes out of the main weeks.NOT this year mate, maybe there is a god after all eh?

Well perhaps your neighbour is sad to gloat but i find it equally sad that, because you can't go out of the main season you take great delight in the fact that others have not been able to because of the weather
We've done six weekends this year so far, we have a week booked this month and two weeks in August, all at £9-00 per pitch per night

I agree with caster.
Its wrong of you to gloat over those of us that can camp out of the main season. Your turn will come soon enough when you can do this. As for the weather, none of us can do anything about it, we take pot luck and keep our fingers crossed that the weather will be good when we are away. Who is to say that the sun will shine for your holiday?....As the saying goes " dont count your chickens......"
We go all year round in all weathers.....to sites and on rallys......at the end of the day it is the people that we go with and the places we visit that makes the holidays we go on great....if the weather is nice then that is a bonus...but I would never gloat.

hopefully the bad weather this year will put some campers off for good and we'll have more space next year. However it may prompt some people to invest in something more weatherproof, like a caravan, and we dont want that theres too many of those already!
Thing is if you holiday in England then you have to take what you get weather wise. But just for information our camping field is almost full this weekend, but we do have empty statics - so i guess the campers are a hardier bunch!
