I'm looking for a site within about 10 miles of Corfe Castle. We're staying for the Swanage Rally with the Wiltshire Centre of the Caravan Club so am looking for somewhere to stay from 5/8 to 10/8/07.
Now - here's the BIG problem - it has to be suitable for the most unimaginative ungrateful unsociable teens (14 & 17) going; ideally with 2 pools (1 indoor) and somewhere for them to 'hang out' with and share their misery with other like minded teens via the text facility on their mobile phones.
As for me and him- must allow BBQ's as that's all we cook on when we're away (yes, even in the rain); be quiet enough to chill out (but not too quiet) and have decent sized pitches with perhaps the odd good pub nearby for us to escape to now and again.
This is our first visit to the Dorset area and everyone I've spoken to says what a beautiful place it is so I'd like to enjoy it with as little moaning from the sullen teens as possible.
Hope someone who has taken teens there can help; thanks

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Was going to suggest Woodlands (which is in Devon!) but afetr reading the post can see its not appropriate BUT just wanted to say that i've had a cr*p morning unblocking a drain in the pouring rain and your post cheered me up no end!
Try this one,out of the park, into the heart of West Bay, beach, fair etc. The only downside IMHO, and I idid write a review, is the pitches are a bit small, but I believe the toilet blocks have been refurbed since our visit.
Thanks so much for the ideas; I had seen West Bay but the reviews here put me off - however if things have improved there then I'll make enquiries. Sandford HP looks good too. To be honest, if it wasn't for THEM, we'd be booking somewhere less commercialised, but there you go.
I know, I know, Dorset isn't in Devon - I realised after I'd submitted it; I've only ever stayed at Cornwall or been passing through the Dorset roads on my way to the ferry so it's all new territory to me.
Just hope the weather picks up when we're there !!
Thanks again
