We've just come back from a brilliant weekend (warm and v v sunny - very rare for Summer 2007 we believe?!) in North Devon. We stayed at Watermouth Cove. The site had the most fantastic views of Watermouth Harbour, Watermouth Castle, Watermouth Cove and the surrounding headlands. We could even see Lundy Island and over to the south coast of Wales. Fantastic!
I think it rates along with the best view we've ever had from a campsite.....which was Ayr Holiday Park in St Ives, Cornwall. I can close my eyes and still see it now, 15 months on!!!!! Beautiful.

We stayed at Hook House Farm Campsite in Robin Hoods Bay and it had the best view ive ever seen in a campsite from our porch window you could see the whole of the bay and when the sunset came it was breathtaking. I wont forget it.
The best view has to be as I lie in the tent, just starting to warm up in the morning sun, the boys still quietly snoring, I glimpse the OH through the porch getting breakfast ready.

Gotta agree with you kernow, fantastic views at Watermouth, stayed there for the last 2 years, giving it a miss this year, too many changes under the new management for our liking, but hopefully things will settle down & we will stay there again.
I'm sure you'll all agree, stunning views from the clifftop:
