We're thinking of booking a week here but are worried that it may be a tiny bit too quiet for our liking!
Not that we like noisy sites lol,but having some form of entertainment for the kids in the evening, just incase its pouring down the week we book! as it looks like everything is centered around the pool/beach.
Also are there any pubs in walking distance from the site?
Looks a fab site, but would it get boring in the evenings if we stayed for a week????

Yep it does look pricey, thats what i thought, especially if your paying high prices just for the pool without any evening entertainment.
Didn't want to pay loads only for the kids to say "we're bored".
Ya could always take them X-box doo dahs or whatever the young uns play with todayProviding you're going with an EHU pitch?
Sorry I can't help ya with any evening entertainment ideas on that site, not having stayed there ourselves but when our kids were young and even on Pentewan where there's loads of evening stuff to do, we never once used any of themWould just go for walks, (hobbles for me), and take a drive into Mevagissey to wander around the harbour, perhaps sit with some fish and chips on the quayside, (watch out for the dreaded gulls who once actually whipped me hubby's bit of cod out of his polystyrene tray in his hand!), and made sure we had plenty of ball games for outdoors and board games for in if the weather wasn't up to much. although even if it was raining, we still went outJust donned Kagouls and waterproof leggings and off we'd go...still do
Bet you'll have a great time no matter what. Wish we didn't have to wait till 18th August for our Cornish forray

Hi Pam, it is a lovely site but no, there is no entertainment and nothing to walk to as far as I can remember... it has a lovely pool, great facilities, fabulous play area but not anything to do at night... didn't bother us for five nights but I know what you mean! How about Polmanter, St Ives, that one has a bar at least and is of a similar quality I understand. That is if you can get in of course! Jackie
We stayed here at Easter, when it was quiet and really enjoyed it. The nearest pub is about half an hours walk away across fields. There isn't any entertainment but there is a games room and also a big games field with play equipment tennis and badminton nets etc. If your kids like running around, sporty things they'll probably love it.
