oh and another thing - Is £28 per night a little steep for 2 adults and 2 children

not been for years but loved it when we use to go,  am sure it wasn't anywhere near as expensive as that though !

Haven't been for a couple of years but it was getting expensive, I think I paid about £15 just for myself and the dog the last time I was there.

I usually camp near the top of the field and find that the water runs off quite well so the ground does not get too muddy.  The last time I was there they were laying a new road so it should be ok.
