Hi

Hoping to head down to Great Yarmouth, from 4th August till the 10th.

Have read loads of reviews, but I'm getting confused, so much choice, but would like one close to beach if possible, with good facilities, and close to town or entertainment on site.

So any advice would be much appreciated.

The nearest site to Great yarmouth with entertainment and all facilities is Vauxhall Holiday park, 15 min walk to sea front, 10 min to town centre,

called them yesterday and there sold out...boohooo, as looked a cracking site, so back to the drawing board.

so any other suggestion would be much appreciated...

 Have you tried the caravan club site on the racecourse,no entrtianment but close to the sea front.

there is loads of sites around Yarmouth but only a few within waliking distance to the beach and town, if you were prpared to drive into town, just do a search for yarmouth and you will find loads,, i live close to yarmouth and have looked a loads of sites which are quite near.

HI, we have just got back from a week at caister "green farm caravan park". It's not even a 5 minute drive to yarmouth. You can literally walk out of the park & to the end of the road and your on caister beach......with real sand :-)

The park is very well kept, the owner is a very keen gardener. They have a shop, chippy, launderette, and a few other shops. The shower & washing facilities are excellent and are regulary cleaned every few hours.  The site also links to summerfields caravan site, which means you can use all their site facilites too.  The kids were off making friends and keeping theirselves happy.

I would recommend this site, the staff and owner (whos on site the whole time) are very freindly and we would definately return here again. If anything the beach is worth going back for...and the seals....enjoy!

Yipee finally got a place at the green farm caravan park, so canny wait now...

Nessdoll...if you get a chance try & get to the beach early in the morning or the evening....the sunset is lovely.....enjoy!
