Has anyone been to this campsite.

Is it far from the coast?

Just got back from a week here.

It is about 3 miles from the coast (Shanklin and ventnor) and highly recommended site if you want uncommercialised, friendly, family site. Showers brilliant, clubhouse friendly and pleasant, pool good. Entertainment every night - low key aimed at smaller children - closes at 11.30'ish. Mostly level pitches. Bus stop to coast and to Newport about 5 mins walk up the road.

We have booked pitch no 83  along the side of the play area which is supposed to be slight sloping, but we need to keep an eye on the kids playing.

Did you notice that area and if it was slightly or badly sloping.
