There's a nice CS site at Laceby called The Willows but you have to be a member of the C&CC to use it. Nice fishing lake but nothing for kids. £9 per night including EHU.
Thorpe Park is nice, is a Haven/British Holidays park though, so quite expensive. Other than that, try the beacholmer, - http://homepage.ntlworld.com/peter.warrington/Grimsby/beachC.htm - not 100% sure they do touring tho! Its mainly guest houses in cleethorpes.
I`m from Grimsby and can`t say that I ever noticed a lot of caravanners in the area, but I am sure they must exist!!!!!!
------------- if i was a flower blowing wild and free, all i'd want is you to be my sweet honey bee.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

I'm from Grimsby too, and to be honest most people are trying to get out rather than coming in!
But seriously, I have wanted to visit relatives back home and have tried to think of a site in Grimsby/Cleethorpes. Thorpe Park hasn't much competition, which is probably why it's so expensive.
We ended up going to Barton on Humber and had a great time, and it's only 30 minutes from town up the M180.
