Hi Everyone,  Can anyone recommend any campsites in South Devon.  We are planning to go for a few days from Thursday, we were considering going to Cofton Country Holidays in Dawlish, but we aren't booking until the day because our 4 year old has had chicken pox and we want to make sure she is ok to go first.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.  It's our first time camping trip!

We stayed at California Cross C&C site in Devon last year. Its very quiet site but a good base. Facilities are excellent.

Ladies Mile- the next site to Crofton

We are going to Cofton on the 17th August - 26th August....

Never been to Dawlish before we usually stay in TORQUAY!!

Our youngest son has cerebral palsy and they do seem very helpful...

Gail, the site is clean/tidy. Showers are good. There is a garage at the top of the road which sells nearly everything and a pub just opposite the garage which also do food. We didnt eat there but it looked OK.

They have a small play area for the kids and also a chip van visits once a week (average).

Hope you have a great time, we have just been to Camping Caradon near Looe we had a great week.
