Yay! after a fair few phone calls we've finally managed to get booked into Fforest Fields for a week. I didnt phone them first as I thought they'd be booked up!
I'm so relieved! We had to shelve our plans for a summer holiday as our car needed work back in May, my holiday savings fund went on the car. But we've managed to save up again and with a little help from a refund of water rates we're all set to go!!
Yay! I'm so full of beans!!

We have just come back from there after an 8 day stay, lovely relaxing site, great people that run it and it will not stretch your money. We only went off site twice in the 8 days just relaxed in the gorgeous scenery and SUNSHINE.
I too have just got back from a long weekend there. As Steve says (nice to meet you by the way Steve ) fantastic site, you wont be disappointed. Have a good break.

I'm just going to print off the checklist so I dont forget anything. I did have a panic cos I couldnt find the deltas but they're found now. I also managed to dig the kids' buckets out from the back of the cupboard, just got to buy a couple of fishing nets now.

another thumbs up for Fforest Fields, came home today after 3 nights. Place is fantastic, so quiet, owners lovely. You must walk up the hill too see the views of the site, amazing.

Didnt it just! I spent all night wondering if I was still going to have a tent in the morning! I moved the car at 1am to provide some shelted then up again at 3am and took the tarp down. I need'nt have worried though the deltas did what they were supposed too!
It was funny though seeing everybody out at 3am in the morning checking their tents!
yes, last Friday night was windy wasnt it, first night in our new tent and I must admit I was up twice checking all was ok and Outhouse still standing. I loved the site and hope to return in september.

We've just returned from our first trip to Fforest Fields. Oh why aren't all campsites like this. Sorry we missed you lot though, nobody from UKCS there. We will return, just great.

Fforest Fields is my favourite site we havnt been able to get there this year yet due to work committments but i have promised Katie we will be there b4 the end of season.
