Were off to this site on the 1/9, any recommendations for eating out etc., and a good local cafe for breakfast? must have outside seating as we have a dog.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
There is nowhere in Freshwater East to eat unless you go to the pub which has a restaurant on the Trewint Park complex, which you pass just before the CC site, which is opposite the beach and quite tucked away. I'm not quite sure if there is a beach shop, I can't remember, but there are no shops or cafes nearby, you'll have to drive to one.
The beach at Freshwater is stunning. There are pubs a bit further afield, and Tenby is about 10 miles away. You must go to Barafundle Beach, where sometimes you can see seals, and St. Govan 's Chapel which is set in the cliffs between Broadhaven and The Stacks. Also the Lily Ponds near Barafundle. Pembroke town is worth a visit, and so is the castle, as is Manorbier Castle.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
