Hi, me and Stuart have just come back from Watersedge Camping Site, Crooklands, near Kendal and we really like it. This must be our 6th or 7th time we have been to this place.
Anyone else been here?

No i have not done a review for UKCS, but there are reviews on there. I was just interested to know if anyone on here has been to this site as its one of the best we have been to and we keep going back!
Hi there diane0112. We had a lovely holiday this year when we stayed at Watersedge Camping Site. The lady and her husband who ran the site were really friendly and the toilets and showers were fine. We found it was in an ideal location. Every time we go up north we tend to go to the Lake District and miss out the Yorkshire Dales but Watersedge is so central you can reach both in a short while. The only thing we didn't like about it was the lack of space. We put up a porch awning on the hardstanding (which we don't like doing much) and there was hardly anywhere to sit outside. We could have sat at the back on the river bank but if you had a pitch the other side there was even less space outside. Admittedly we usually use CL's and CS's these days and you get so much room for your money.
