This thing about 'silly rules' is true of both CC and C&CC. I can't understand the CC rule about hanging out washing. I read a letter in the CC magazine from someone saying you should use the drying facilities provided on site (tumbel dryer). I don't use a tumble drier at home for anything other than towels, duvet covers, so don't see why i should do so when i'm camping! Rant over.

Hi Pickledonion

This might work out to expensive, but you could book the 2 nights and then you could have most of sunday  to pack up and go about tea time if your not far from home, we do this when we go to cornwall and we tend to miss most of the traffic than as well.

Just an idea

If you really can't go for 2 nights, can't you manage for one night without hook-up. Just get some good, warm sleeping bags and take lots of warm clothes.

Hi all. It's not just the c&cc we have noticed a lot of independent sites now stating two night min stay at weekends which means we have to go after work, we then run the risk of hitting traffic turning up late and having to stay on the late arrivals park.
