Am I alone in wanting simplicity and no frills?? Is there nobody else.. here's mine

A field.... with about 200 yds between pitches bushes and trees possibly.... A tap... Good views ... A disposal point..... Friendly campsite owners.. and a hook up, possibly would be nice..... And a dedicated campfire area around which the WHOLE campsite could gather rather than everybody keeping to themselves.  Far enough away so that quiet late night talking would not disturb those wanting to ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ or privacy.  Lighting to a minimum so we can see the stars.  Grass still like a field not manicured

Absolutely NO  swimming pools, bars.. people with TV's.. .. No flower beds please to regimented for me. No overcut grass.   Relaxed people on site of mixed ages, with only well behaved dogs, whose pooh is cleared up.  maybe a separate field for the kids who like the dreaded footer.... (we are talking utopia here).

Am I alone.......

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Tentpegjenny, perhaps you could try wildcamping, that sounds like it would suit you (minus the eleccy hook up obviously).
