Can anyone suggest a campsite suitable for a young family i.e. entertainment, for between christmas and newyear or possible over new year.
We don't want to travel too far as it's our first year. We live in Lancashire and had been recomended Holgates at Silverdale but it is booked up already!
Any suggestions would be most appreciated

I was just thinking this earlier today - I have shown an interest in the Meet at The Trotting Mare Caravan Park, Overton-on-dee, Wrexham, Clwyd, between 29th December 2007 and 1st January 2008 which is on the Events/Meets tab. I was also going to ask those at this weekends "meet" at Lime Tree and hopefully we can come up with something!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
