on monday, me, hubby, sister-in-law & partner & nephew are staying at ruda in croyde from monday to friday. 4 nights isn't long, so we're looking for somewhere between devon & birmingham, preferably a campsite (statics) to stay at on the friday & saturday night. cheap as poss... any ideas?!!!!!! please help!

Woolacombe Bay (the company have 4 or 5 caravan sites around the area) their logo is a beach ball. Have stayed with them before and they were OK, not on the coast though. How about Hoborne at Watchet. We like Hoborne. More of a south devon know it all - so am struggling now.
I haven't stayed in a static for years but I'd have thought you'll be hard pushed to find somewhere cheap for two nights in a static, their management costs for things such as cleaning & checking the van will be as high for a two night stay as it will for a full week so you might be better off extending your four night booking to a full week.
