Our navman is really good for finding CC sites even found Morn Hill which is off a roundabout and not the easiest to find.
The only thing I have against the CC directions is that they assume you are in a caravan and can send you a pointless way. As we only have a medium wheel base Transit van conversion we can go along some of the roads they tell you not to. They need to learn that not everyone has a caravan and towcar.

Get a satnav works every time
Just check your route to the site that the satnav provides against the route that the CC book gives. As an example going into the Start bay CC site at Kingsbridge is quite an adventure using the roads the club sends you down, I eventually drove down the roads that my satnav suggested and for those I would have wanted to be wearing a pair of brown trousers. Those lanes are much too narrow.

True but then they have to cater for a route that will get everyone into their sites.
