If you are in The Caravan club, have a look at the latest magazine, it has a special feature on a CL between Keswick and Thirlmere. Looks great, we've already booked for two weeks for next August
It's called Shoulthwaite farm

If you are in the Caravan & Camping Club, they have a nice site between Kendall and Windermere.
You might get more responses if you post this in the UK camping & caravan sites section though.

Low park wood in Kendal is lovely if your in the Caravan Club, Although Gemma 1675 is right the Caravan and camping club one between kendal and windermere is also great and has a little bar on site!

Lowther holiday park is great, there is also a pub, takeawy & shop on site but its not an all singing all dancing place.
Lovely walks & a river the kids can play in & excellent customer service.
