Hi Allan

We stayed here 2 yrs ago, had a fantastic time.

Has a great little lake well stocked with fish (big Fish) too.

Short drive to supermarket.

They also organise your ferry for you, I found them superb to deal with.

Hi AllanD if your idea of a good camsite is being sandwiched between two car scrapyards whos cranes start up at 8 am and you like looking at birds ie peacocks etc being kept in inhumane  conditions then go to Roebeck

Take it you had a bad experience xantia?

You should perhaps leave a review on the site,  The scrap yard didnt wake me up mainly because Im up before 8, but didnt raise my family. The keeps that the peacocks were in looked large enough to me, did you report your concerns?

I notice however you do not make a suggestion to the subject question

It is as said often in UKCS each to their own!

Our family had a great time,,,,,,
