Been away for the last two New years...with UKCS mates....but this year we have decided to stay at home and have a new years party for our family and old family friends.....just been out and got some 'display' fireworks for a brilliant price .... for the big night..... sorry ... that i cannot advise you on where to go for the new years ...have a look on the 'Southern meets page...see if there is a UKCS meet on...
have a good time ...where ever you end up eh ... also ...you may find that your post may be 'moved' to a more appropiate place on the forum...so don't panic if you notice thats it's gone.... Ratty may just put it on the 'Meets' page...and then you should get a bigger response to it..

Fireworks are pain on bonfire night and three weeks before and after, then we have to put up with them again on New Years eve, mostly being set off after the legaly allowed time.
Rant turned off.
Enjoy

Our first new year away since the millenium. Being a nurse we have a holiday ban on the two week xmas period. But a recent promotion now means I have earnt the right to some annual leave over this time. Have a look at the site. Its, gorgeous.
As an avid Goldpanner and prospector, next year we will be spending 3 weeks up in Scotland going round all the Goldpanning places. Ive only ever panned in 2 places in Scotland and now want to try them all out.
We usually wild camp for 4 nights then into a campsite for showers etc for 2 nights then back out wildcamping again.
Theres gold in them that hills !! 22.3 carat gold.
Were going to walk the short distance to our local football club, drink an awful amount of beer and wine, dance a lot, and then stagger back home with friends and have a BBQ with our jackets on, with the patio heater on at full throttle.....
Did that last year, what a brill way to see in the new year.....
First New year ever away in the van going to Chatsworth CC site with some friends got a meal booked in Baslow for New Years Eve - personally I am praying for snow!
