We stayed at Greenhills last year and I think you would be ok as you w.ould be on an electric pitch, they are marked out and are on the field which is fairly flat. Certainly the camping field is sloping, but I don't think there is EHU there. It is a good location, you can walk or cycle into Bakewell really easily from the site.

Does anyone know for sure whether the C&CC site at Chatsworth takes tents or not??
There is no C&CC (Camping and Caravan Club) site at Chatsworth. The Chatsworth one is Caravan Club (CC). I can't see anything in the handbook about no tents there. Perhaps you should ring the CC to find out.
We went to Greenhills just after August bank holiday last year and really enjoyed it. We went to have a look first on the BH and although it was busy they weren't "crammed in like sardines" from what we could see there was plenty of room. The lady on reception was very helpful and said we could have a good wander round before we booked to make sure we were happy with the site
