We live in South London and are looking at going camping somewhere in the summer with a couple of friends preferably near a beach.
Does anyone have any ideas for a good place to go where there is easy access to a beach and we will be allowed to make noise after 9pm? We won't be rowdy but may want to chat or have a few drinks if there are no local bars etc and don't want to offend anyone.

Depends how far you can go but Hillend on Gower takes groups and it is just a short walk through dunes to beach http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=1108. Also there is a nice site near St Davids (Pembrokeshire) that is really near beach ..and is in back garden of a pub!http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=2698 ..
