Can anyone recommend a caravan site in or near Oban.

Have two children aged 9 & 7 so looking for something maybe with a play area etc.

We've stayed at the Divers before - it was a lovely site with a really friendly guy running it.

There are reviews on UKCS I think.

Hi had a great hol last year at North Ledaig C.S a managed site of the Caravan Club and very nice it was too , our pitch was one row from the beach and the views are superb, there is a play area and lots to do in the area Oban is a short drive away, or even catch the local bus that stops outside the site, AND no pesky midges to murder either!!! regards S/.C

stayed at bunree cc site, about 35miles north from oban, absolutley fantastic site, on edge of loch with fabulous views. ideally situated for lots of touring, if you go do the 3 ferry run,(corran,isle of mull, oban) brilliant day. def going back this year.

Another vote for Oban Divers here. it's a great site - very quiet - but a lovely little park for the kids, my two loved it.

I too would vote for Oban Divers. Very quiet site but handy for the town.

We stayed at North Ledaig Summer 07 and are going back this summer too. It's a large peaceful site, with a big playarea. Right on the beach, with plenty of space between picthes and good tarmac roads for the kids and their bikes. Toilet / shower facilities are second to none, expecially the top block, all chrome and touch sensitive.
