Hello CM, I take it you mean Graffham Water CC site near Huntingdon?  we went 3 years ago its a lovely site, and I am sure only made even better with the CC. The local village  quater mile away only had a n indian restaurant at that time, graffham water visitors centre had a cafe, about 2 miles away was a petrol station selling usual bits and pieces.  Huntingdon was not far away, maybe 10 mins in car, but dont hold me to that, its a town with all you need.

St Neots was not far away 20mins? There was a great myseum all about the local place, and a oliver cromwell museum. Thats if my memory serves me right.

St Ives was avery pictuesque place with a river and lovely bridge with a chapel on top of it.

Hope this helps, we enjoyed our time there, see if you can get on a tourist info web site.

Shirley

Tesco at Huntingdon, St Neots and Big One at Peterborough Very big one.

Waitrose at St Ives, and St. Neots.

Co op at St Ives, Huntingdon,St Neots  and many of the smaller villages.

Sainsburys Huntingdon.  M & S Huntingdon

Cambridge is not that far away  use the Park and Ride (Parking is hell and you need lots and lots of money if you find a space)

Plenty of things to do in the area if you have bikes take them ride around Graffham Water.

Hi, we use this campsite quite alot as its close enough to home for a weekend away without being in the car forever.

The site is lovely, very friendly wardens, large pitches, always immaculate toilets. Good dog walk round the fields. Fantastic new outdoor pool. small childrens climbing frame. pond.

Grafham village has no shop, only an indian restaurant/take away- which i can recommend. Good sized play area for the children.

The neighbouring village of Buckden has some great pubs especially  reccomend the food at the george. There is also a one stop shop here and some lovely little boutiques!

As people have already said the bigger shops can be found at st neots, approx 15 mins away , where there is also a leisure centre- cinema, pub with indoor childrens play area. There is a petrol station on the A1 at Buckden.

grafham site not currently under going some improvements to meet cc regulations- i believe its due to reopen the 4th july. we cant wait to re visit and see what improvements upon a fab little site they have made.

Any further questions info then please feel free to ask.
