Just starting to plan a trip to Whitby area in the last week of July. Would appreciate anyrecommendations for quiet out of the way campsites, preferably 10-15 miles inland

Maybe not quite as far inland as you would like, but I can recommend Serenity in the village of Hinderwell. It's quiet, out of the way, about a mile and a half inland from Runswick Bay and only about 7 miles to Whitby.

Another vote for Wolds Way - lovely quiet site, great views, clean and hot showers. Out of the way but not too far to drive for good days out - Whitby, scarborough, York
Hi "Serenity" is an excellent site with very helpfull and friendly owners. We wanted to try one of the predominantly adult only sites in N.Yorks and we had a very peaceful break.

Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
