Traveling north on the M6, which is the best route to take to Stanwix Park at Silloth towing a Caravan.

1. A66 via Keswick and Maryport along the coast road?

2. B5305 via Wigton, looks more direct but whats the road like?

4. Carlisle A69, A595 A596, B5303?

I would go route number 1 if I were you, however, if there is a road traffic accident on the road at the time; the diversion route on that road is HORRIFIC!!!!! Be warned!
