This weekend, you must be dead unlucky, as per previous posts we,re there twice this year.

The Viking weekend is supposed to be good with longships pulled through the streets, any how Yorks good anytime, and there,s a pub over the river which does pub grub like it used to be . mmmmmm.

We managed to go last year although we didn't know anything about it.  The only downside was York was absolutely heaving and it was impossible to walk in a straight line.

They had a food festival at the same time last year.

Didn't book early enough for York this year though.
