think this is in your neck of the woods? There is a site here behind a pub and I wondered if you know what it is like? If we don't go to Scotland this summer might go to Devon instead and brave the A303 to get here for a stopover.

Yep it is the Brook House Inn.  If you go and want a meal though IMHO the Natterjack just 2 mins away has far better food!

I've found the food at Brook house to be good.  Wasn't so keen on Natterjack myself.

Lovely little site, not sure about the food as the site has been taken over recently by new owners. Looks like they are making lots of improvements though

Natterjack has recently changed hands, it was run down by the previous owner who got bored!  Well he had been there 20 something years.  We went there back in January and it is now much much better.
