Hi

I've just booked 6 nights at Deer's Glade and know that it is not far from Cromer, but checking out on the internet it seems most of the beaches dogs are banned from may to october.

Does anyone know of any dog friendly beaches at the end of May please as our Bailey loves the beach and the sea, or alternatively anywhere we can take him swimming.

Thanks.

Think it was on a thread about campsites with kennel facilities, just thought i'd have a look and loved it. Couldn't get in for May Bank Holiday weekend, but have got in for the Mon - Sun, as it's half term thats fine.

you can take dogs on the beach in Cromer just not in the central part - a few mins walk either way and it is ok. West Runton beach isn't far away and you can take dogs there  - it's just the small area around the access where they are banned but you can walk them along to where they are allowed.

There's a nice cafe in Cromer where dogs are allowed, it's called the Whelk Coppers I think, it's on the sea front near the lifeboat museum.
