Hi
Does anyone know of any campsites near lymington
I don't even know where it is lol
My friend is getting married in may in lymington and i'm looking at camping somewhere as near as possible
She sent me some hotels and prices but they are just to expensive for us, there is five of us so camping nearby would be the cheaper option
thanks
saff

Lymington is at the very bottom of Southampton water, on the left hand side - the New Forest side. The Isle of Wight looks so near you feel you could touch it....
The New Forest is full of caravan parks !!

Lytton Lawn definitely the closest. After that Bashley Park near New Milton and Black Knowle CC site at Brockenhurst.
May I respectfully suggest that if you don't know where Lymington is you go to Multimap or Streetmap on the internet and find out? It's really quite a big place and has a ferry terminal for crossings to the Isle of Wight.
Cheers!

We always stay at Lytton lawn when we visit our nephew near Lymington. Pub in walking distance and nice clean site.

We have stayted at Lyton lawn too and love it, a really nice site, with the added bonus of using the facilities at the sister park, Shorefield country park just 5 mins drive away with a indoor pool and gym and a resturant or pub grub too.------------- Theres only one way of life and thats your own!

Nice idea. Seems a bit buggy at the moment, a calculation thing? Have tried typing in my local co-ordinates (as from Multimap, 4 decimal places) and find the map shows somewhere completely different. As the level of accuracy the 6 dp shows is about an inch (1 degree is 60 miles at the equator, I think) seems a bit OTT. Or could the script be written to pad with zeros anything less than 6 dp if that's what the map needs?
S
edit scrub that, seems ok now, must have typed the wrong number in or summat ;)
