Thinking of visiting this area in May, could anyone please recommend a caravan site with good toilet & shower facilities in this area? Thanks

Hadrians Wall Camping & Caravaning site is in a lovely location near Haltwhistle.  Since we've been there they have built a new toilet and shower block.

Take a look at Roam-n Rest site at Greenhead, cracking site, only small but spotless and very cheap, good pub 400 mtrs away, well worth a visit.

We stayed at Haltwhistle Caravan And Camping club site on our way back from Scotland to North Yorkshire last year,

Only stayed for one night but we went and explored a little of the area during the day we were there, Took about 10 minutes to drove to one part of Hadrians wall and Haltwhistle village is quite pretty!

I think they also allow non members at the site,

Thanks, will have a look at sites recommended. Just got our caravan out of storage so our !st trip is planned for next week up to Bunree, Just hope the weather improves or at least the wind dies down.Next trip for a week will be in May so quite fancied trying this area as only ventured up north so far since getting the caravan 2 years ago.
