We went to Chantry caravan site last Sept - seemed to have lovely areas for dog walking - http://www.ukcampsites.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=5731

Hi enid we stayed at Westholme, ayesgarth and thought what a nice site it was, we had two labs at the time (sadly only one now) and you can walk over the fields which belong to the farm. There is a stream that runs along the bottom field if you pooch likes a swim as ours did. Ayesgarth falls are near by, within walking distance.------------- **********

Hi Janx,
Thanks but unfortunately Westholme no longer takes touring caravans - believe it is not a mobile home site.
Booked Craken House Farm views from it look lovely and owner tells me there is a lovely field for you to run your dogs in.

Try Bainbridge-ings at Hawes. It has it's own web site and we stay there every year. We have 2 goldies and the place is a working sheep farm. It is right up in the fells and much nicer and cheaper than the club sites nearby.
