We've been looking to camp near Edinburgh in may at a site near a park & ride into the city centre but don't know what we'd do with our dog. Has anyone any tips on what to do on such a holiday, ideally including the dog?

Can't offer any suggestions regarding the dog but Mortonhall site just off the Edinburgh ring road is good. Stayed there several times and there's a bus into Edinburgh just at the site entrance.
