I am interested in the Applewood Camping And Caravan Park, however I cant seem to find any information on it! I was wonderering whether anyone knew anything about the campsite, mainly the tarriffs, but I would be grateful for any information regarding this campsite.
Thankyou, Louisa
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
If you cannot find anything about Banham or would like another site near by (which might be better for walks and cycling)? There is also the "Dower House" site which is about 5 or 6 miles from Banham but is in the forests.
We haven't been for a few years but do know that Banham has now become quite expensive in comparison with others we now use. They do have a large car boot sale outside of the site which is well worth a stroll around if you like that sort of thing but this can also be visited from the Dower house which is only about a 10 minute drive...
Hope this helps??

We went for a week in May and would go back like a shot! It was lovely, shops just outside the gate (the touring park is within the zoo complex but outside the zoo!), you can hear the animals and see the birds flying over, the showers and loos were fine (though the indoor shower drainage was a bit iffy one day).
There is loads to see out and about, we did a Broads trip from Wroxham, Beccles and friends did lots more than we did to include gardens and steam railways.
I agree the website isn't very informative, which I found worrying, but it was great! We were on a rally so I couldn't comment about price, but half term we paid about £12 per night.
The car boot was good too! Also you get a reduced rate for the zoo, and can go in as many times as you like thereafter.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
