We are looking at going to Cayton Bay between Scarborough and Filey with our tourer for the May Bank Holiday. Looking at the reviews both Browns Caravan Site and Cayton Village Site look good. Is there anyone who has been to both sites that can tell us which they prefer and advise of any pros and cons.

Tim

Have only stayed at Cayton Village site which is lovely, busy at bank holidays but where isn't? Good play area, short cut to village, nice chippy. Never tried the pubs. Long walk for small kids to beach about a mile, older ones fine. Good base for that area. We love the beach there, though it is a steep climb down and back up, not really suitable for pushchairs. I would be surprised if they had vacancies now, unless it isn't as busy as it used to be. We've not been for a couple of seasons now.

Hi Mr Tim, lot's of us are going to Blue Dolphin for the first May Bank hol if you and your's are interested?

I love that area, we are off to Reighton Sands tommorow for the weekend and Blue Dolphin next weekend.

Don't use the Haven facilities much but the sites are easily reachable for us for a weekend away.  Pool always handy for the boys to go swimming if it rains.

The fish and chip's from Filey and Scarbrough are great lol

Hope you get booked up and have a fab weekend.
