My lad went to that site last year & hated it, if you want an alternative try Skegness Sands

Hi
went past Butlins yesterday and it looked pretty water logged and lonely. We stayed there a few years ago and have never ventured back. I think the wobbly porta cabin shower block that sealed it for us.
Good Luck

I don`t think Butlins takes tents, I don`t know what your outfit is, but I am sure they don`t take tents.

Butlins Skegness dont take tents. We often go to butlins and stay in the apartments. The touring site isnt the best in the world and is reaaly just a field you can stay on whilst using the facilities------------- It'll work out in the end!!!!
I didn't do it !! Nobody saw me do it !! You can't prove anything !!

I've never stayed there myself but a friend if mine did quite a few years ago and said it was awful. We drove past there ourselves the year before last and the whole touring site was a sea of mud and water. I don't think i'd be in a hurry to stay there, might be better finding a nicer site and getting day passes.

We stayed at Skegness Sands last year and then went into Butlins as a day visitor, It worked out far cheaper than staying at Butlins.------------- Juliet & Paul

We stayed at Butlins on the touring site a few years ago, the touring pitches are on the opposite side of the road to the main facilities. The toilets/showers were a porta cabin and not very good, but we tend not to use them if thet are poor so it was'nt really a problem.I thought it was very good value for money, we took our little grandaughter and had a brilliant time. I know tents and trailer tents are deffinately not allowed.Have you looked at the prices of staying in an appartment ? my daughters are going for 4 nights in June and have paid £130 for an appartment for 4, which again I think is good value.Hope this helps.
