yes we stayed there last summer, we had a hard standing but to be honest i would of prefered to be on the grass as it was right next to the river and i dont like my awning on the gravel! lovely site though

Corner is probably the best hardstanding area but be aware that pitches Corner 3 and 4 back on to the kids play area, which is fine if you have kids or noisy if you don't!
Avoid Wood 1,2 and 3 unless you like shady pitches as they do not get the sun, Wood 4 and 5 are better.
The grass pitches are lovely and like julia we prefer to be on these pitches.
It is a great site with fantastic facilities and very friendly staff.
Make sure you call in the Horse and Farrier Pub for a pint, the locals are a great bunch of characters!
Hi we had a static on here for 5 years before changing to a tourer. It truley is a beautiful site, lovely walks down by the side of the river, only 5min walk to the village, thats sells almost everything you could need.
In the summer you can drive up into Ingleton for the waterfall walk or for a swim in the outdoor pool.
The facilities are top class. Say hello to Thomas the owner for us!
If you come back to this post I wondered if you had met the famous Alex in the Horse and Farrier? (He usually has a pink fluffy handbag with him!)
We have become good pals with him and Matty since we started visiting Riverside!
They are a friendly lot round there,we love it and will be there over the Bank Holiday.
Never been a fan of statics but the ones at Riverside are fantastic and all laid out really well,as you say it is a beautiful site, with a lovely walk to Low Bentham on the river.
If I see Thomas I will say hello for you!

Hi to everyone who replied and thankyou. Had a great break at Riverside and it was everything everyone said it would be. Will be going back and would even consider it for a seasonal pitch with only being an hour away from home.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
