we are looking for a seasonal pitch in the north west either lancashire or south lakes for our small 4 berth caravan, we live near blackpool so dont want to travel too far and to have a good place for me to take the kids in the summer when hubby working, dont really want to pay too much does anyone know of anywhere? basically wanting electric hook up, a park for the kids and maybe a site shop or one nearby the site.

we often go to a site called bardsea leasuire its were we bought our van but there is a site at the back.its in ulverston kids absolutly love it there is a big park a small fishing pond were they feed the ducks.there is a shop that sells a few bits which is in the main sales building but there is a co op about five minutes down the road 2mins in car also on site there is alovely old man with like a butty bar.it is so peacefull nothing fancy like a club house but the showers and toilets are great really clean all underfloor heated and free.we love it but everyone likes different things.
