Anyone know of any campsites by Loch Ness? Checked the camp site search but for some unknown reason Loch Ness Caravan and Camp site no longer takes tents. Anyone help

Wow that is a surprise.  I remember some holidays there in the 60's when I thought it must be the biggest campsite in the world.  I remember it being cleared in a couple of days by a midge explosion too.

 It used to claim to be the only camp site on the Loch, it would be a shame if thats still the case and they don't take tents.  In fact, if it don't take tents, is it a camp site?  

Fort Augustus Caravan And Camping Park  Might be your nearest at about half a mile away, not the same as being beside the water though. 

Do you wild camp?  I recently read about someone camping around the loch from a canoe.  Not sure if it was on here.
