I am looking for a nice site to go camping for the first time. I live in Hereford and would need to rely on public transport to get to a campsite. So any sites that have a train station near by would be great. I'l be going on my own with my tent so i'm not looking for anything too far away. I'm not looking for campsites that are miles away from anything and to be staying in my tent all day and night. I'm looking for ones with a few bars, shops, places to eat etc. Anything in Wales or down south as far as Somerset would be great. Any ideas for me?

Thanks, there are lots of sites on here but some seem to be in the country. This wouldn't really be any good to me because of transport. So i'm looking for sites that are in easy reach of a train station or buss route. I'm sure there are sites around tho. :)

I like the idea of having a look at Kiln Park in Tenby, this looks more my type of campsite. Can anyone tell me if the campsite is very far from the town of Tenby at all? If it's not too far I might look further into it, any ideas?
They definitely are 'walking distance' but I would say a good 15 mins and not so flat.. with all your stuff that could not be so straightforward! Could be worth a phone call to a local taxi firm to find out fares ?
